Rooney breaks Manchester United drought to sink CSKA, City ease past Sevilla

Wayne Rooney scored the first Manchester United goal for more than 400 minutes as his side beat CSKA Moscow in Group B.

The headed goal came in the 79th minute after the United skipper – who had not scored for 955 minutes in the Champions League – had missed a simple chance 10 minutes earlier.
